SnapChat Fun! Schlafly Hop Trial SMaSH Pack Review

About Schlafly Hop Trial SMaSH Pack
The Schlafly Hop Trial SMaSH Pack is a limited edition mixed 12 pack that hits the stores July 4th. Inside the box are three bottles of four different beers. SMaSH stands for Single Malt and Single Hop. Each beer offers the same golden malt bill accentuated by a unique single hop. The beers are named after the featured hop.
Hallertau Blanc is a German hop that delivers soft floral notes. Enigma comes from Australia and offers a juicy fruitiness. Eureka is a United States hop that brings a piney characteristic that is found in traditional American Pale Ales. Lastly, the Bramling Cross hop is from the United Kingdom and adds a spiciness that is reminiscent of… well, you’ll have to watch the short video to find out.
Overall, I found the mixed 12 pack to be quite fun and educational. It’s perfect for craft beer newbies as it demonstrates the unique flavors that each type of hop delivers. It’s also ideal for craft beer veterans as these four hops are most likely hops they haven’t sampled before – at least not standing on its own.
As for my individual reviews? You’ll have to watch the video to see which one had me singing to the Spice Girls and which one I could water my trees with.
